MET Marine Services commenced operations in November 1994.

Designed from conception to be a premium quality service provider to importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and steamship lines, offering FCL container pickup and delivery service throughout the Province of Ontario, MET Marine Services proved to be a natural extension of the value added services already offered to carriers and freight forwarders through MET's established operations at Pearson International Airport (PIA).

Our PIA operations include re manifesting, transshipment, scheduling export traffic to meet air cargo departures, pick up and delivery service to/from all airport warehouses, scheduling import traffic to connect with line haul departures - all in an extremely time sensitive environment.

By bringing the disciplines of the expedited and "just-in-time" domestic freight market, and the urgency inherent in all air freight transactions, in which MET (Motor Express Toronto) had operated successfully over the preceding sixty two years, MET Marine Services established new service standards in FCL Drayage, and against which its competition would be measured.
